Getting involved with Newgrounds now, great

Posted by Chaos-Legacy Nov. 10, 2009 @ 2:03 PM EST

I'm not a big fan of Hentai at all, just not my thing. However, Newgrounds is a public sight that has always prided it's self on "everything by everyone". Which ment no matter what the content was, it was allowed up, as long as proper credit was given to the respected creators. Recently, the creators behind Fosters Home for Imaginary Children intervened on Zone-sama's Fankie Foster video. Due to this, the parody was pulled down from Newgrounds. I am unaware of all the details, however, it wasn't removed willingly by Zone-sama (I assume) sense it was "blamed" by Newgrounds.

I feel that this is personally the start of something bad, that anytime a respected parody is made giving credit to the original creators, if they don't like it they will just remove it. Turning "everything by everyone" into "A few things by everyone". Original Characters are unaffected by this however sense their respected proprieties are owned by their original creators. But what happens to series like The Real Legend of Zelda, or sense TOIE is a bunch of dicks, any DBZ sprite flash created, maybe even the Awesome Series will be scratched. I know the ideas of those being put to rest are slim now, but this is how this sort of stuff always starts, slim, then someone gets pissy one day. Here is hoping that this post is nothing more then venting from some one who hates companies with extreme amounts of money have no sense of humor.
